Job Summary
Screen employees, visitors, vehicles, packages, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures while verifying credentials and controlling access to restricted areas. Identify and report prohibited items, access concerns, and suspicious activity to designated personnel or management. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required activity and incident reports. Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and/or badge experience
- X-ray screening experience
- Loss prevention experience
- Alarm panel experience
