Job Summary
Monitor access control, alarm, and video systems from a dispatch center; document and communicate security-related events to appropriate personnel. Receive, prioritize, and dispatch responses to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communications records in accordance with site-specific requirements. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a utility operations environment. Work overnight shifts from 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM in Carmel, IN, supporting essential utility operations.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- A valid driver's license
- Have at least five years of industrial security-related experience or two years of military, law enforcement, EMT, or fire department service
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
