Job Summary
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor records to control entry and exit for employees, contractors, and delivery personnel at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents and access-control concerns by notifying site contacts or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities. Use computer or tablet systems to accurately document daily activities and access-control exceptions. Work part-time weekday shifts from 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
