Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle, watching for irregular conditions and ensuring property safety. Sound alarms or contact police/fire for emergencies, warn violators of rule infractions, and permit authorized entry while monitoring exits. Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing written logs as required by the post, and make emergency notifications per site orders. Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner. This role involves working irregular shifts with little to no advance notice across various industries including healthcare, education, and finance.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of security experience
- open availability to work at different locations on different shifts with little to no notice
- high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
- subject to a background investigation
- subject to a drug screen
- at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
