Job Summary
Conduct efficient security operations at construction sites by securing client property, patrolling assigned perimeters, and deterring suspicious activity. Report any suspicious activity immediately to the Security Corporal on location and provide detailed information to authorities as needed. Identify and correct inefficiencies, liabilities, and safety hazards while maintaining high attentiveness to surroundings. Perform all essential functions onsite with a high degree of integrity, utilizing assigned radio communication to coordinate with the team. This part-time role involves a 4-hour shift Monday through Saturday, with both indoor and outdoor assignments possible regardless of weather.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to other related software
- Judgement and high level of integrity
- High initiative and reliability
- Safely and legally operate a motor vehicle; Must have a valid and current Driver's License
- Must be able to sit upright, stand, or walk for 100% of the shift as needed
- Must be able to quickly ascend and descend stairs and move as needed to secure premises
- Must be able to engage quickly physically to de-escalate or respond to security or safety threats
- Must be able to regularly get in and out of vehicles to perform tasks including moving blocker vehicles as needed
- Must have excellent visual and auditory acuity to see, hear, and interpret observable people, things, behavior, and speech
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
- Required to make any/all continued training/education classes provided by Premier Security Solutions, relevant to position
Desired Qualifications
- Law enforcement, public safety, or military experience, preferred
