Job Summary
Security Officer responsible for executing security duties on assigned shift to maintain a safe, friendly environment for guests and team members. Tasks include following company policy to safeguard people and property, generating written incident reports, escorting and observing guests and employees for safety, possibly acting as dispatcher to inform outside agencies of unusual situations, maintaining knowledge of facilities and events, delivering professional customer service, verifying identification for gaming regulations, maintaining attendance, confidentiality, and professionalism, responding to guest inquiries, and complying with required schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. Requires on-site work, ability to interact with guests and staff, and capability to handle safety hazards promptly. Represents Prairie Flower Casino’s Mission and Values.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year casino industry experience preferred
- Excellent Guest Service and interpersonal skills required
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
- Strong organizational skills required
- Ability to read, analyze, and act upon documents and reports necessary
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Must be able to effectively use a computer as well as various software including Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
