Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities. Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following established escalation procedures. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in required reports and communicate relevant information to leadership. Work full-time mornings (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) in Fort Wayne, IN, supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
