Job Summary
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site policies; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations as needed. Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and site procedures. Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents while ensuring compliance with driver policy requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations
