Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeters to deter incidents while providing professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Respond to medical emergencies and critical situations following established site protocols, and conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the site. Assist with visitor directions, wayfinding, and adherence to access procedures, then document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately for leadership and emergency responders. Work rotating shifts including overnight hours in Overland Park, KS.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of security-related experience
- Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements
- Be able to work in a hospital morgue
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Valid driver's license
