Job Summary
Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Monitor access points by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing passes, and maintaining accurate records. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while conducting regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter. Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns to support order and continuity of operations. This part-time role in Hauppauge, NY, offers a six-month anchor shift commitment with the option to pick up additional shifts via the Smart Tools platform. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or GED, and possess a valid driver's license where required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
