Job Summary
Identify and report security breaches, maintain professional communication, and respond to alarms by coordinating with airport authorities and first responders. Control access to secure areas by verifying identification and conducting vehicle inspections while patrolling airside and landside zones. Manage crowd control in high-traffic areas and prepare detailed incident reports to ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Work full-time or part-time shifts at Dulles International Airport, requiring a valid Virginia security license, English proficiency, and a verifiable background check.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid State Security License (Virginia)
- Must provide proof of legal right to work in the United States
- Ability to effectively speak, write, and understand the English language
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must be able to pass all initial and recurrent training classes and exams
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Must be eligible for CBP seal and pass the criminal background check to obtain the airport ID
- Must be willing and able to participate in pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing with negative results
