Job Summary
Patrol all property areas, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and conduct daily hazard inspections. Respond to accidents, defuse disturbances, and escort unwelcome persons while documenting incidents in reports. Handle interruptions and complaints, gather evidence for investigations, and administer first aid or CPR as required. Complete shift summaries, loss prevention reports, and safety training certifications. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and ensure uniform standards. Welcome guests, assist individuals with disabilities, and address service needs using clear professional language. Perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 pounds, navigating uneven surfaces, and standing or walking for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
- Must be able to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Must be able to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
- Must be able to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects)
- Must be able to enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
- Must be able to move at a speed required to respond to work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog)
- Must be able to speak with others using clear and professional language
- Must be able to prepare and review written documents accurately and completely
- Must be able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
- Must be able to comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
- Must be able to complete safety training and certifications
- Must be able to ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Must be able to protect company assets
