Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing, production, warehouse, office, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and vehicle traffic to deter unauthorized entry, documenting all patrols and observations accurately. Work a full-time day shift from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM in Melville, NY, requiring a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
