Job Summary
Protects and provides a safe environment for the hospitals, parking facilities, satellite facilities, employees, patients, and visitors. Intervenes when suspicious or abnormal behavior is observed, conducts internal and external patrols of the facility and grounds, maintains and operates vehicles and shuttles, and responds to coded alarms; ensures proper working condition of security equipment and assists with evacuations as needed. Must possess knowledge of LVHN emergency codes and response protocols and demonstrate sound judgment in critical situations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year Security, Law Enforcement, Corrections or Military experience, or graduation from a Law Enforcement academy.
- DL - Driver's License_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
- BLS - Basic Life Support AHA - American Heart Association Within 90 Days
- CHSO - Certified Healthcare Security Officer Basic Level - International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety Within 90 Days
- BCCM - Basic Comprehensive Crisis Management - Business Continuity Management Institute Within 90 Days
