Job Summary
Secure the client's property and location by performing regular perimeter walks, moving blocker vehicles, and monitoring assigned sites with high attentiveness. Identify and correct safety hazards, handle gate operations and visitor check-ins, and communicate effectively with the team via radio. Report any suspicious activity immediately to the Security Corporal and provide detailed information to authorities as needed. Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally while maintaining a culture of diversity and teamwork. Work minimal 8-hour shifts, including 2 weekends per month, with travel to other locations possible.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to sit upright, stand, or walk for 100% of the shift as needed
- Must be able to quickly ascend and descend stairs and move as needed to secure premises
- Must be able to engage quickly physically to de-escalate or respond to security or safety threats
- Must be able to regularly get in and out of vehicles to perform tasks including moving blocker vehicles as needed
- Must have excellent visual and auditory acuity to see, hear, and interpret observable people, things, behavior, and speech
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to work 2 weekends per month
- Must have a valid and current Driver's License
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
- Judgment and high level of integrity
- High initiative and reliability
- Ability to work in a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork
- Safely and legally operate a motor vehicle
