Job Summary
Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols of government facilities and surrounding perimeters, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner while providing customer service to visitors, employees, and the public. Execute emergency response activities and ensure compliance with site-specific policies and procedures. Work a rotating schedule from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM across Tuesday through Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED
- Corrections Officer License
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds
- CPR certification
- Comfort using a computer or tablet
