Job Summary
Security Officer II — Part-time position based in Duluth, MN. Responsibilities include conflict resolution and de-escalation, frequent interaction with client staff and guests, identifying and reporting safety issues, ensuring post orders are followed and rounds are completed, and performing duties of a similar nature. Requires 18+, a high school diploma or GED (or ability to obtain GED within 6 months), strong customer service and leadership skills, vigilance, and the ability to respond to emergencies with sound judgment. Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks; prior security, military, law enforcement, or corrections experience preferred. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K, paid training, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
- Prior security, military, law enforcement, or corrections experience required
- Must be willing to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
- Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills
- Must be able to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and use appropriate escalation
- Safe driving, CPR / FA, and NLDW
