Job Summary
Monitor resort grounds, detect suspicious behavior, and prevent vandalism or theft while protecting staff, guests, and assets. Provide extraordinary customer service to visitors and employees, maintain good relationships with local law enforcement and emergency agencies, and complete shift logs, incident reports, and other required documentation. Work the 2nd shift from 4:00pm to 12:00am, rotating seven days a week including holidays. Maintain First Aid, CPR, AED, and S.L.E.D. Security certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work rotating shifts seven days a week, including holidays.
- Must be able to pass an S.L.E.D. criminal background check.
- Must possess a valid SC Driver's License.
- Must be able to handle confidential information.
- Must possess a basic knowledge of computers and computer programs.
- Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Must have good judgement.
- Good to Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written is required.
- Must be able to lift and carry minimum weight of 25 lbs. across short-medium distances.
- Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements.
- Must be in overall good health and be able to walk at a brisk pace for up to one mile in an emergency.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
Desired Qualifications
- High school degree, or equivalent certificate, preferred; equivalent combination of related security training and / or military experience will be considered.
