Job Summary
Security Officer II (Swing Shift) responsible for the safety and protection of guests, employees, and casino property. Executes emergency response and evacuation procedures, enforces casino policies and applicable laws, oversees money transportation between cage, count room, and casino games, patrols and inspects areas for hazards, investigates incidents, maintains visibility to deter problems, assists guests, and may escort guests and team members. Requires ability to stand/walk for extended periods, meet physical demands (lifting/pushing/pulling), and obtain Nevada Gaming Registration; Alcohol Awareness card required. Location: Sparks, NV (onsite).
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Nevada Gaming Registration
- Alcohol Awareness card
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform lifting/pushing/pulling tasks
- Ability to respond to emergencies and enforce policies in a casino environment
- Experience in security, law enforcement, or related field preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and interview witnesses
- Ability to patrol large indoor/outdoor environments
- Ability to work swing shifts including nights
- Ability to work in environments with smoke and loud noise
