Job Summary
Conduct security and protection for guests, employees, and company property while maintaining crowd control and preventing theft in a high-volume atmosphere. Circulate among guests and employees to preserve order, administer first aid, and report safety hazards immediately to management. Restrains intoxicated or disorderly guests, directs emergency vehicles, and answers guest questions regarding casino facilities and locations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of persons of interest and VIP customers, comply with dress code, and follow radio communication procedures. Work irregular shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment requiring strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain alert for suspicious activity.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid Driver's License
- 21+ years of age
- Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to keep an open and objective view
- Ability to maintain composure and stay focused
- Must have strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must have good positive energy throughout the day
- Must be able to read and print legibly
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations
- Must be able to move quickly
- Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance
- Must be effective as part of a team
- Ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
- Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards for the position
- Appear in the dress code for all shifts at your scheduled time
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
- Must be able to work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be required
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of Security experience or 3 years of Hospitality experience preferred
