Job Summary
Responsible for the security and access control of National Guard facilities as a CLEET certified Armed Security Officer. Duties include checking identities, monitoring access points, maintaining logs of visitors, and securing the premises through video surveillance and physical inspections. The role requires adherence to security protocols, ensuring proper identification is presented, and responding to incidents. Must pass various background checks and maintain a valid driver's license. The position requires availability during emergencies and inclement weather.
Required Qualifications
- Six (6) months of experience preferred in security, law enforcement, and emergency responder work, or direct care of juveniles in a secure residential facility.
- Maintain a current Armed Security Guard License with the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET).
- Contingent on a favorable NCIC/OSBI background check.
- Contingent on passing pre-employment drug & alcohol screening.
- T3 (secret) security clearance.
- Contingent on passing a physical agility test (PAT).
- Copy of Armed Security Guard license.
