Job Summary
Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, appointments, and authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and vendors. Monitor entry and exit points, access control systems, visitor logs, and vehicle activity while reporting unauthorized access attempts and suspicious activity. Respond to incidents and critical situations following established escalation and emergency response procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and is located in Ladson, SC. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles and subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
