Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle, watching for irregular conditions that may create safety hazards. Sound alarms or call police/fire for unauthorized persons or fires, and warn violators of rule infractions like loitering or carrying forbidden items. Permit authorized entry, monitor exits, and observe departing personnel to prevent theft. Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and maintain required logs while aiding customers and employees in a professional manner. Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders. Work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice, including outdoor and extended standing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must Be 21 Years of Age or Older
- Must have at least 2 year of Security Experience
- Must be able to work outdoors in the elements
- Must be able to stand and walk for Long Periods of time
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen
- Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills; able to write informatively, clearly, and accurately
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
- Assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately

Desired Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
