Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle, monitoring entrances and exits while watching for irregular conditions or safety hazards. Sound alarms or contact police and fire departments regarding unauthorized persons or fires, and warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering or smoking. Permit authorized entry and observe departing personnel to prevent theft, investigating incidents and preparing required written logs. Aid customers and visitors in a courteous manner and make emergency notifications per site Post Orders. This role involves flexible shift selection through our platform, with part-time Monday through Sunday availability and a base rate of $17.25 per hour. Candidates must be at least 21 years old with two years of security experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must Be 21 Years of Age or Older
- Must have at least 2 year of Security Experience
- Must be able to work outdoors in the elements
- Must be able to stand and walk for Long Periods of time
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen
- Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills; able to write informatively, clearly, and accurately
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
- Assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately
