Security Officer I

Job Summary
Patrols and inspects the premises to protect guests and assets; reports all observed safety and security issues to management; escorts cash and sensitive items; assists guests by answering questions and providing directions; supports Gaming Inspectors in the destruction of sensitive materials; contributes to process improvements within the department. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of security experience preferred, ability to use Defensive Tactics, and eligibility to obtain OLCC permit and Class III Gaming License; must be 21+ and have a valid Oregon driver’s license; proficient with Microsoft Word. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience in security or police work preferred
- Must be able to utilize Defensive Tactics as trained
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must obtain an OLCC permit within the first 90 days of employment
- Must be able to obtain a Class III Gaming License
- Current and valid Oregon Driver's License
- Ability to use Microsoft Word
