Job Summary
Investigate, document, and manage security incidents and hazards while executing emergency and disaster preparedness plans. Assist patients in wheelchairs exceeding 200 pounds, walk long and short distances, and stand for extended periods. Provide information and guidance to staff and visitors within the healthcare environment, maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to all uniform and grooming standards. Prior law enforcement or security experience is required, along with a high school diploma or GED. Availability for all shifts, weekends, and holidays is mandatory, with a drug-free facility screening required pre-employment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior law enforcement or security experience
- Must be able to follow oral and written orders
- Must be able to assist patients in wheelchairs in excess of 200 pounds
- Must be able to walk long and short distances
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must display excellent customer service skills
- Must be available for all shifts, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to provide validation of a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
- Passing a pre-employment drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Must display a willingness to participate in additional training as required
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
