Security Officer I - FT Days

Conduct foot patrols of the medical center's interior, exterior, and parking structures to detect irregularities and deter crime. Respond quickly to emergent situations involving visitors, patients, and staff, including executing Code Red, Gray, Pink, and Orange responses. Provide visible deterrence by monitoring traffic in patient loading zones and escorting patients, physicians, and volunteers. Inspect parking structures for hazards, enforce parking policies, and issue citations when necessary. Transport deceased patients to the morgue and assist law enforcement with testimony or administrative hearings. Submit accurate field notes and written reports on all observations and actions. Maintain traffic control in the emergency department to ensure ambulance access. Complete required training and certifications, including the CA Guard Card and PC832 certificate. Earn $25.00 to $28.38 per hour for this full-time day shift role.
