Job Summary

Patrol, inspect, and secure the property to protect assets and ensure guest safety. Uphold and enforce all policies, procedures, and rules of the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel. Report all incidents in written and verbal formats to the Security Supervisor and maintain order through a visible presence throughout the facility. Stay informed of ongoing incidents, take appropriate action, and utilize knowledge of fire and security systems. Understand evacuation plans and fulfill Area Warden duties within three months of hire. Complete required training on incident reporting, de-escalation, and defensive tactics within the initial 90 days. Obtain a Coeur d'Alene tribal gaming license and pass a physical fitness test.

Required Qualifications

  • Coeur d'Alene tribal gaming license
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 19 years of age or older
  • Physical fitness test
  • 25 words per minute typing speed
  • Basic problem-solving skills
  • CPR and/or first aid training
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior military or law enforcement experience
  • Certifications in handcuffing and defensive tactics
  • Six months of previous related experience
  • CPR and/or first aid training
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to perform under minimal supervision
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic attitude
