Security Officer I

Performs security-related tasks including responding to alarms, providing assistance, conducting facility lockdowns, screening visitors after hours, documenting incidents, and operating radios and security equipment. Utilizes access control and CCTV systems; applies de-escalation techniques; administers initial first aid; and supports emergency response and incident reporting in accordance with department policies. Requires clear written and verbal communication, ability to read and interpret safety rules and codes, basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel), and completion of 40-hour Security Officer training. High school diploma or equivalent is required; valid Driver's License is required. Pay range listed is $16.63-$26.60 hourly. This is a PRN role based in Altamonte Springs, FL.
