Job Summary
Monitor and patrol hospital areas, including morgues, while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents and support patients, visitors, and staff. Respond to critical situations by managing access concerns, visitor requests, and emergency activities with a calm, problem-solving approach. Conduct random patrols of entrances, parking areas, and perimeters to identify hazards and report policy violations. Complete activity logs and incident reports accurately. A valid driver's license is required for this driving position. Work part-time shifts including days from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements
- Be willing to work in a hospital morgue
- Be able to restrain individuals when necessary
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
