Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas in a government hospital location, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering customer service to visitors, staff, and the public. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting details to site contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to control entry and exit activity and observe hazards or policy violations. Work full-time day shifts from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This role supports daily operations with an agile, people-first approach within a team that values integrity and innovation in security responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of security-related experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- A guard card and/or license
- Customer service experience
