Job Summary
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner while conducting regular patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding property. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with access control and directing individuals to appropriate areas. Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. This part-time role offers flexible anchor shifts with a six-month commitment, allowing candidates to pick up additional shifts through the Claim-A-Shift program to increase earnings. Located in Chattanooga, TN, the position requires at least one year of security experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in and around a morgue.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license in the state where the job is located
- At least one year of security-related experience
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements
- Be able to work in and around a morgue
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be able to restrain individuals when necessary
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
