Job Summary
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner while conducting regular patrols of assigned buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations. Assist with access control, visitor screening, badge verification, and directions, documenting all observations and actions taken in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures. This part-time role in Cleveland, OH, requires a valid driver's license, adherence to driver policy, and willingness to work in a hospital environment including a morgue. Applicants must meet hospital vaccination requirements and provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet hospital vaccination requirements
- Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue
- Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED
- Must be willing and able to restrain individuals when necessary
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
