Job Summary
Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity while patrolling on foot, bicycle, or via vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and unauthorized individuals. Orally and physically de-escalate individuals as needed, screen members and visitors to expedite admittance, and respond to incidents including fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, and hazardous materials with calm urgency. Inspect security devices and fire control equipment, and may include patient escort, patient watch, safety escort, or transporting deceased to the morgue. Available shifts are Friday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM with a base pay of $17.26 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must Be 21+ Years of Age for Role
- Security Experience 6+ months
- Must Have Great Customer Service Skills
- Must Be Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet
- Prior work experience involving dealing with customers, troubleshooting, and/or managing stressful situations
- Be at least 21 years of age for role
- High school diploma or Verifiable High School Diploma or GED (Certificates of Completion not acceptable)
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Post offer, must be able to successfully complete the training requirement and obtain a Management of Aggressive Behavior certification
