Job Summary
Conduct continuous patrols of the property to safeguard guests, associates, and assets. Answer house calls, assist visitors with safety concerns, and initiate investigations into crimes while documenting all incident and accident reports. Monitor camera systems, maintain shift activity logs, and handle undesirable persons without disrupting operations. Assist sick or injured individuals, ensure proper report disposition, and check alarm and fire equipment systems. Note safety hazards in associate areas and operate two-way radios using ten codes. Maintain accurate records and comply with all security department standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must possess basic computational ability
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Knowledge of property policy and fire-safety procedures
- Ability to operate hand held two-way radio and knowledge of ten codes
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for holidays
- Must be available for overtime
- Must be able to work varying schedules
- Must be able to work seven days a week
- Must be able to work twenty-four hours a day
- Must be able to attend group and/or department meetings
- Must be able to project a hospitable service atmosphere
- Must comply with Company standards, rules and regulations
- Must follow the job description to the best of ability
