Job Summary
Seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment through foot patrols, responding to emergencies, and assisting law enforcement. Requires high school diploma, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or G.E.D. required
- Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license
- Obtain Non-Violent Crisis Prevention certification annually once employed by Hebrew SeniorLife
- Ability to type 45 WPM
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of basic security procedures and equipment
- Strong analytical skills and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Strong customer service experience
- Prior security experience
- Computer literacy required; experience with databases, Access, Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Windows O/S for data entry and reporting
