Job Summary
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or hazards. Monitor access points and visitor activity, directing individuals to appropriate areas as needed. Document incidents, patrol findings, and security activities accurately, communicating relevant information to site leadership. This part-time role in Milton, MA, offers flexible anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and an option to claim additional shifts via the Smart Tools platform. A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
Required Qualifications
- Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations
- Be able to restrain individuals as needed
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
