Job Summary
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations following established protocols, and conduct regular patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeters to identify unusual activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, directing individuals to appropriate areas, and document all incidents, patrol findings, and activities accurately for site leadership. This part-time role in Milton, MA requires a six-month fixed-shift commitment with the option to pick up additional shifts via the Smart Tools platform. Applicants must be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations and be able to restrain individuals as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations
- Be able to restrain individuals as needed
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
