Job Summary
Conduct routine patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to deter unwanted activity, while monitoring entrances, hallways, parking areas, and other assigned locations to support authorized access and orderly operations. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed. Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Document incidents, observations, and unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location procedures. This driving weekend role in Salem, VA, requires a valid driver's license, hospital vaccines, morgue experience, and the ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Hospital vaccines
- Experience working in a hospital morgue
- High school diploma or GED
- 21+ years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting
- 2+ years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
