Job Summary
Security Officer position on a seasonal, full-time basis in Hakuba, Nagano, Japan (Dec 2026–Mar 2027). Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining a secure environment through patrols, surveillance, identifying and addressing security threats, responding to incidents, enforcing facility rules, controlling access points, and coordinating with other departments. Requires legal right to work in Japan (Working Holiday Visa), English fluency (Japanese a bonus), driving license and International Driving Permit, willingness to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends, and the ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks. Competitive hourly rate with shared accommodation offered.
Required Qualifications
- Legal right to live and work in Japan (Working Holiday Visa)
- Experience as a security guard preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, evenings, mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects
- English fluency; Japanese a bonus
- Driving license and International Driving Permit
- Ability to commit until at least March 31, 2027
