Job Summary
Security Officer on graveyard shift responsible for protecting Chinook Winds customers, staff, facilities and assets. Duties include monitoring facilities and cash handling areas, crime detection and prevention, investigating incidents and producing detailed reports, escorting cash transfers, operating handheld scanners, maintaining knowledge of promotions/events, assisting guests, enforcing policies, occasionally restraining disruptive individuals, and performing First Aid/CPR as needed. Requires 21+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, relevant security/military/law enforcement experience preferred, and a valid driver’s license with Oregon eligibility. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and working overtime as needed. Must work in a busy gaming environment and pass pre-employment procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- 6 months gaming security, security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
- Siletz Tribal Gaming License
- Valid Driver’s License, or ability to obtain Valid Oregon Driver’s License within 90 days of hire
- CPR Certified within 1 month of employment
