Job Summary
Security Officer position at a resort site responsible for patrols across resort areas/buildings using established checklists, maintaining communication with Front Desk and Guest Services, responding to security/emergency calls, executing emergency procedures, securing facilities overnight, assisting guests during overnight shifts, de-escalating disruptive guests, coordinating with law enforcement when needed, and completing detailed incident/accident reports with sound judgment under pressure. Requires 18+ with a valid driver's license, ability to stand/walk long periods, and physical capability for lift/stoop activities; First Aid/ CPR certification is a valued asset or willingness to obtain. The role emphasizes guest safety, service, and adherence to safety protocols across all resort operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record for minimum one year
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; climb stairs; reach and bend
- Capacity to occasionally lift over 50 pounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to write detailed incident reports
- First Aid and CPR certification is a significant asset (willingness to obtain if not certified)
