Security Officer - Global Shipping Company

Conduct routine unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities. Monitor access points to verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken. Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, access-control concerns, and potential hazards in accordance with site procedures. This part-time role requires a valid New York State Security Guard License and a high school diploma.
