Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned warehouse, loading dock, and perimeter areas while maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents. Respond to alarms, access concerns, and critical situations by communicating observations to appropriate personnel and executing emergency procedures. Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facility zones and monitor truck, visitor, and employee access in accordance with site policies. Document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in detailed daily activity reports to support access control and property loss prevention. Provide exceptional customer service to clients while utilizing computer or tablet systems as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
