Job Summary
Check vehicles entering and exiting the lumber yard, directing drivers to product locations and verifying purchased items match what is loaded. Monitor premises to prevent theft by examining doors, windows, and gates for proper function, while warning violators of rules and addressing suspicious acts. Use handheld computers to count orders and report facility issues or request emergency personnel for high-risk situations. Requires good computer literacy, knowledge of the building industry, and the ability to walk significant distances on concrete during busy summer months.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma/GED
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security – Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability
- Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, background investigation
- Good knowledge of the building industry and construction
- Must be able to communicate well
- Must be available for weekends
- Must be available for 2nd Shift
- Must be available for Full-Time position
