Job Summary
Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and manage visitor access while conducting routine patrols of assigned facilities and perimeter areas. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations by escalating concerns according to site procedures. Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities. Maintain accurate access logs and communicate professionally with site personnel and emergency responders. This full-time role in New York requires a New York State Security Guard License, TSA TWIC, and a high school diploma. Applicants must be at least 21 years old for armed roles and pass a background investigation and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- New York State Security Guard License
- TSA-issued TWIC
- 21 years of age or older
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Valid driver's license
