Job Summary
Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols of building common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations following established site procedures while providing customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff. Support access control, observe activity throughout the property, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements. Work a full-time day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Chicago, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
