Job Summary
Monitor assigned areas, conduct regular unarmed patrols of warehouse zones, loading docks, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity, and verify visitor and vendor credentials while documenting entries and departures. Respond to alarms and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner by notifying site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Provide customer service by executing site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities, then prepare accurate reports of patrols, unusual conditions, and security-related activities. This role supports logistics and distribution clients in Berkeley, MO, within a collaborative team environment focused on integrity and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Alarm panel experience is preferred
