Job Summary
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and issue visitor and contractor access documentation at a chemical/petrochemical location. Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures while responding to incidents, alarms, and critical situations using established notification and emergency procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, surrounding areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations. Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities. Possess a TSA-issued TWIC credential and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- TSA-issued TWIC
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
- A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred
