Job Summary
Inspect interior and exterior building areas for physical security issues while controlling traffic in a safe and orderly manner. Respond to incidents requiring First Aid, CPR, or AED, and prepare detailed incident and investigation reports. Educate team members on safe practices and shrink control standards, and complete audits as directed. Collaborate with other security officers to ensure a secure environment for customers and staff, and report all in-store accidents to proper departments. Requires a valid driver's license, Security Guard License preferred, and ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years and older
- Entry level – 1 to 2 years experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license required
- Organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
- Great customer service
- Ability to be flexible in work schedule
- Good oral communication
- Excellent work ethic
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (winter weather)
- This position requires frequent walking and standing and occasional exposure to weather
Desired Qualifications
- Security Guard License preferred
- Knowledge of the Bloodborne Pathogen standards
- Basic knowledge of CCTV
